Seaford Community Cinema matinee performance 'La La Land'

THE Barn Theatre, Saxon Lane, Seaford is the location of Seaford Community Cinema, a volunteer run, not-for-profit organisation that relies on a team of volunteers and on-going support to bring selected recent film releases to Seaford.
Seaford Community Cinema work in partnership with Seaford Rotary Club who purchase a number of tickets for matinees to distribute free to the senior members of the community who reside in sheltered accommodation and care homes, and for whom going out in the evening to the cinema is really not an option for most of them.
Thus, on 1st July, 30 residents of Seaford residential homes attended a matinee performance of the film ‘La La Land’, a 2016 American musical romantic comedy-drama film starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone as a musician and an aspiring actress who meet and fall in love in Los Angeles.
This was the fourth matinee that Seaford Rotary Club have provided support in the last 12 months to enable our elderly residents to go to the cinema.
