Sunday Roast

ON Sunday 23rd October, 55 Rotarians, their wives and partners, Harris fellowship recipients and guests enjoyed a Rotary Sunday Lunch Special. Attendees congregated in the bar for drinks and fellowship before the lunch was served.
The starter was served at the table and with the main course and dessert available from the servery counter.
The was a choice of three starters, Leek & Potato Soup, Toasted Walnut & Goats Cheese Salad or Seasonal Melon, Caramelised Fig & Parma Ham.
For the main course from the carvery, selection could be made from:
• Roast Loin of Pork
• Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Pie
• Braised Leg of Lamb Steak
• Baked Portobello Mushroom, Sundried Tomato & Courgette Duxelle
This was followed by a selection of desserts and cheeses and tea or coffee, which was taken in the bar lounge as well as the dining room.
