Boot, Craft and Produce Fair

The first of the 2016 season of Seaford Rotary Clubs’ Boot, Craft & Produce Fairs took place at Martello Fields on Sunday 22nd May. Although the weather forecast had predicted rain in the early morning, the morning was dry and the clouds gave way to blue sky as the morning progressed.
The Fair was very well attended with 50 pitch holders selling a wide variety of goods such as framed cricket prints, vinyl records, furniture, clothes, cards from original artwork, golf and tennis balls, books, jigsaw puzzles, tools as well as an assortment of collectables including Star Wars posters and a model dalek.
Produce available included fresh vegetables, plants, jams and pickles and farm produced fruit juices.
Additionally, the public were very generous and our buckets contained plenty of welcome donations.
Together with the pitch fees (still at only £8 for a large pitch) and our takings from our own Rotary Club stall we raised over £880 which we will put to good use for worthy causes.
The next Seaford Rotary, Craft and Produce Fair will be held on Sunday 12th June and we look forward to seeing you there.
